Every year, emerging opera singers take the stage with extraordinary talent, years of preparation, and the hope that someone will recognize their potential. But opportunities like the Utah District Laffont Competition don't happen on their own.

Our local competition is made possible by a community of arts lovers, volunteers, and supporters who believe that exceptional talent deserves a chance to be heard.

Donations to our organization provide the prize monies for award winners and support the costs incurred in hosting the Utah District round of the competition. It is important to note that although the Utah District is officially sanctioned by The Metropolitan Opera and feeds the national competition finals, it must raise 100% of funds for our annual Utah District Competition, which we accomplish through the generosity of local businesses and individuals like you.
