Utah District to host
November 28, 2020
The Utah District round of the Metropolitan Opera Eric and Dominque Laffont Competition is supported in part by the residents of Salt Lake County through the Zoo, Arts & Parks (ZAP) Program
and the University of Utah School of Music.
Announcement of 2021-22 winners will take place in the concert hall at approximately 3:30p.m.
Audience members and competitors are invited to enjoy a performance by former Utah District winner soprano Celena Shafer while the judges deliberate.

The next Utah District Competition
will take place
November 4, 2023
11:00am-1:00pm and 2:00-5:00pm
Event is open to the public to observe free of admission charge.
Winners will be announced directly following judge deliberations that day.
